Let’s be real: will the Red Sox play tonight? Probably. Maybe. Check the sky. Check the app. Text your friend who “knows a guy” at the park. But in the end, just remember: it’s a game. A beautiful, maddening, rain-soaked game.
And if they don’t play tonight? C’est la vie. There’s always tomorrow, and tomorrow’s forecast looks exactly the same. So grab a beer, shrug your shoulders, and smile. Because in the grand scheme of things, the only thing worse than a rainout is a lifetime of perfect, boring weather. Go Sox.
