Doug Bishop left Adventures With Purpose because the mission changed. It stopped being about helping families and started feeling like a soap opera with diving gear. He wanted back to basics: family, peace, and a little bit of mud on his boots.
If you miss him on AWP, don’t panic. He’s still out there, probably smiling, finding old relics, and breathing easy. Isn’t that the ultimate adventure anyway? Sometimes, the bravest quest is the one where you walk away from the noise and find your own quiet river. Doug did exactly that.
