Okay, here’s where it gets fun. Some insiders are whispering about Bastille. Yes, the same Bastille who did that “Pompeii” song a decade ago.
They’ve been quiet lately. Too quiet. But they’re signed to the same management team as Coldplay. And they’ve got a new album dropping in late 2026. That’s a massive clue, right? I mean, it’s practically a flashing neon sign.
Can you imagine the crowd losing their minds to “Good Grief” right before Coldplay comes on? It’s the perfect palate cleanser between the emotional balladry and the confetti cannons.
What About the Local Heroes?
Coldplay always tosses a bone to local talent. For the UK 2026 dates, expect a few surprise guests from the city they’re playing in.
Think about it. In Manchester, they might bring out Blossoms. In Glasgow, maybe Primal Scream? In London, watch out for Self Esteem (Rebecca Lucy Taylor). She’d absolutely steal the show with her brass section and her unapologetic attitude.
And let’s not forget the supporting acts that haven’t even been announced yet. Coldplay loves to announce openers at the last minute. It’s their little way of keeping us on our toes. Or maybe they just forget to update the website. Classic Chris.
