The last wedding—the one where Charles and Carrie finally get their act together—was filmed at St. Bartholomew the Great in London. It’s one of the oldest churches in the city, hiding behind a courtyard in Smithfield. It’s so old that the walls have seen everything: plague, fire, and Hugh Grant being charmingly inept.
The church has a circular Norman arch. It’s breathtaking. The scene where Charles says “I take you, Carrie” with that perfect smile? Filmed right there. It’s a public church, so you can visit and pretend you’re in the film. Just don’t expect a flash mob.

The Flat That Started It All
Charles’s messy, wonderful flat? That was a set built at Pinewood Studios. Sorry, but you can’t visit it. The real location inspiration came from a flat in Notting Hill, but the interior was pure studio magic.
Think about it: where else would you find a fireplace, a huge window, and a bed that looks like it was stolen from a college dorm? It’s a mess. And we love it.
