Your best bet is London Underground. Get off at Sloane Square station (District or Circle line). It’s a 10-minute walk through Belgravia—aka, the land of very expensive dogs.
If you’re driving? Don’t. Unless you enjoy paying £40 an hour to park near a fire hydrant. Use a taxi or a bike. I’m not kidding; the area becomes a maze of road closures and flower lorries.
And for the love of petunias, wear comfortable shoes. You’ll walk 3 miles without noticing because you’re mesmerized by giant alliums.
What About the Weather?
May in London is a gamble. It could be 25°C and sunny, or it could rain like the end of the world. Pack a poncho. No, not an umbrella—they’re banned in the show gardens.
Also, prepare for British humidity. It’ll make your hair do things it shouldn’t. But honestly, you’ll be too busy smelling a rare orchid to care.
