Gordon’s primary London pad is in Wimbledon Village. Yes, the posh bit near the tennis, not the tube station where your train always gets delayed. It’s a sprawling, multi-million-pound Georgian mansion that looks like it could swallow a small village whole.
He bought it back in the early 2000s for a cool £4.5 million. Today, it’s probably worth enough to buy a small country. Inside, you’ll find a massive kitchen that’s probably cleaner than your soul, and bedrooms for his five kids.
Why Wimbledon? Privacy, mostly. It’s leafy, quiet, and full of other rich people who don’t gawk. Also, it’s far enough from central London that he can’t hear us all panicking about our scrambled eggs.
The Famous Neighbors (and a Pub)
Living in Wimbledon means Gordon is practically neighbors with the All England Club. I bet he threatens the strawberries before they serve them at Wimbledon. “They’re raw! What are you?!”
There’s also a famous pub nearby, the Hand in Hand, where locals have allegedly spotted him relaxing. Not swearing, just sipping a pint. I don’t believe it either, but let’s pretend.
