If you’re watching in North America, set your alarm for 6:00 AM Pacific if you want the live action. Or, if you’re a night owl, catch the replay on Peacock or CBC—just avoid spoilers by muting social media. For European viewers, the 2:00 PM CET time is perfect for a lazy Saturday afternoon, with a warm blanket and a hot toddy in hand.
Don’t forget the lightning round afterwards: immediately watch the women’s gold medal game (also on Saturday, at 9:00 AM CET) for a full day of rock-fest. Curling is the only sport where you can binge eight ends and still feel like you’ve accomplished something.
Lastly, join the conversation. Follow hashtags like #CurlingGold or #MenCurling on X (formerly Twitter) to see live reactions and memes. The curling community is wonderfully weird—expect jokes about broom technology and shoutouts to the “Brier Patch.”
And here’s the reflection: watching the men’s curling gold medal game isn’t just about sports. It’s about embracing slow, deliberate moments in a world that’s always in fast-forward. Curling teaches us that victory often comes from patience, not power—and that even when you slip, there’s always another stone waiting for you.
So block out that Saturday. Gather your people. Let the gentle scrape of brooms and the satisfying clack of granite remind you that sometimes, the best things in life are the ones that take a little extra time. Now go make some popcorn, and prepare to be mesmerized.
