Here’s the gold. I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! usually kicks off in mid-to-late November. Think around the 17th to the 20th. ITV loves to drop it on a Sunday night. Why? So you can’t use “I have work in the morning” as an excuse to go to bed early. Sneaky, right?
The exact date gets announced about a week before. Usually, it’s a big reveal on This Morning or Lorraine. So keep your eyes peeled. Or just follow me—I’ll scream it from the rooftops.
But why so late this year?
You might think, “November? That’s ages away!” And you’re right. It is ages. But that’s the point. They need the Australian winter (which is still warmer than a British summer, honestly). The days need to be long enough for Bush Tucker trials, and the nights need to be chilly enough for campmates to huddle together. Drama breeds in the cold, my friend.
Plus, ITV has to fit it around the World Cup, Strictly, and whatever soap opera cliffhangers they’re cooking up. It’s a TV scheduling nightmare. We just get to enjoy the chaos.
