Between January and April 2026, universities host Offer Holder Days. This is where they try to convince you to choose them. You’ll be wined and dined (with complimentary tea and a sad biscuit), shown shiny labs, and handed a “welcome to the family” speech. It’s like a first date, but you’re the one being wowed.
Go to these! You’ll get a feel for the place, meet students who laugh at the same weird jokes, and maybe even see a lecturer trip over a cable. It makes the confirmation feel more real—and less like you’re buying a mystery box off the internet.

What If You’re Still Waiting in June 2026?
Breathe. It’s fine. Some universities (like those in Australia or Canada) have rolling admissions that go right up until July 2026. Others are just really, really slow—they’re probably still arguing over budget for the self-cleaning toilets.
If you haven’t heard by July, call them. Not in a “hey, where’s my stuff?” angry way, but in a “just checking in, no pressure” polite way. Admissions officers are human (mostly). They appreciate a friendly voice that doesn’t scream “I’ll burn down this spreadsheet.”
