Did you know that the NBA has been around since 1946, when it was founded as the Basketball Association of America? It's true, and back then, games were played in tiny gyms with epithet-equipped scoreboards - talk about a blast from the past! Fast forward to today, and we have state-of-the-art arenas with jumbotrons that'll make your eyes water.
Now, about those game times - if you're trying to catch a playoff game, be prepared for some prime-time action, usually around 8 PM ET. And, if you're lucky, you might even catch a doubleheader on ESPN or TNT, which is basically the sporting equivalent of a pizza party. But don't get too comfy, because the NBA schedule is more unpredictable than a Kevin Durant tweetstorm.
So, to make sure you don't miss the tip-off, set those reminders and notifications on your phone, and if you're feeling extra extra, you can even cosplay as your favorite NBA player - just don't forget to wear deodorant, trust us on this one. With a little planning, you'll be basketball-ready in no time, and who knows, you might just become the ultimate NBA fan!
