You can now find Ken Bruce on Greatest Hits Radio. This is him, but with a twist. The show is called Ken Bruce’s Greatest Hits, which is a very literal name, but frankly, we love it. It’s on every weekday, from 10 AM to 1 PM in the UK. Set your alarm clocks (or just your coffee break).
And yes, PopMaster is still there. He brought that beautiful, infuriating quiz with him. People cried with joy when they heard it. I’m not kidding—I saw it on Twitter. It’s the same format, the same gentle bullying, just with a new address.
What’s the vibe? It’s lean-back, nostalgic, and happy. Imagine a radio station that plays everything from Elton John to Queen, but without the weird DJ screaming. That’s Ken’s new home. It feels like a pub that serves perfect tea.
How to Actually Tune In (Without Selling Your Soul)
You don’t need a special decoder ring. You can listen on FM in some areas, but the easiest way is online. Pop on the Greatest Hits Radio website or their app. It’s free, which is a miracle in this subscription-happy world.
BBC Radio 2 loses a million listeners since departure of Ken Bruce
You can also find it on DAB digital radio. Just scan your dials until you hear that Scottish burr. If you have a smart speaker, just say, “Alexa, play Ken Bruce.” She will obey. She knows not to argue with a legend.
One small warning: the station plays a lot of 80s and 90s music. If you’re not ready for a surprise Womack & Womack track, you might need to brace yourself. But honestly, who isn’t ready for that?
