Here’s the one thing you must remember: not all Northern Line trains go to Battersea Power Station. The Northern Line splits. Some trains head to Morden, some to Edgware, and some to Battersea Power Station. So when you’re waiting on the platform, listen for the announcement or check the digital screens. It’s like choosing between a regular coffee and a latte—you need to know which one you’re ordering.
If you accidentally take the wrong branch, don’t panic. You can always get off at Kennington or Stockwell, wait five minutes, and catch the correct one. Getting lost in London is a rite of passage. Just do it once, laugh about it, and then download the Citymapper app.
The Final Verdict
So, what line is Battersea Power Station on? The Northern Line. It’s that simple. Whether you’re a tourist, a local who hasn’t been back to London in ten years, or someone who just wants a good photo for your mum, that is your golden ticket. You get a modern station, a historic building, and a great day out.
Go find a seat, check the map, and remember: that big brick cat is waiting for you. And now, you know exactly how to get there. Happy travels.
