Here’s the thing: John Major is a bit like a smartphone that only has the essential apps. No TikTok, no flashy filters—just phone, maps, and a good book. While other ex-PMs are launching podcasts or writing scandal memoirs, Major is reading the cricket scores and gently reminding everyone to be civil.
He’s also like an old, reliable library: not the most exciting place, but you’re glad it’s there when you need a steady reference point. He’s the anti-Boris in every way: calm, measured, and boring in the best sense of the word.
