Coming in at a close second (or third, depending on how you count chapters) is the Book of Isaiah. With 66 chapters, this prophet really took his sweet time. Isaiah is like that friend who starts telling you a story at a party and two hours later is still going strong. But his story is absolutely epic.
He covers judgment, redemption, a suffering servant, and visions of a new heaven and a new earth. Seriously, the guy had a lot on his mind. And he was not shy about writing it all down. You could say Isaiah wrote the original “long read” newsletter.
It’s worth the effort, though. Reading Isaiah is like watching a cinematic masterpiece—just be prepared to hit the bathroom break around chapter 40.
