If you see a swarm—like a tiny black cloud that moves in unison—you might have a drain fly infestation. Those are the ones that live in your sink pipes. It’s time to pour boiling water down the drain and say, “Bye, Felicia.”
If it’s carpet beetles and you find holes in your favorite sweater, don’t cry. Vacuum like your life depends on it, and consider getting a cedar block. They hate cedar. It’s like a tiny, woodsy horror movie for them.
And if all else fails, call an exterminator. There’s no shame in it. You’re not a failure; you’re just a human who lives in a world where bugs throw tiny raves in your pantry. That’s on them, not you.
