Universal Studios is like Disney’s cooler, slightly louder cousin who lets you stay up past bedtime. You step into Harry Potter’s Wizarding World and suddenly everyone is speaking in bad British accents, including that dude from accounting who’s usually really boring. It’s hilarious. You’re sipping butterbeer in Diagon Alley, and for five minutes, you genuinely believe you might get a letter from Hogwarts. (Spoiler: You won’t.)
The rides here are intense—think screaming, spinning, and the kind of G-force that rearranges your internal organs. But the best part is the people-watching. You’ll see a family of four trying to figure out the “Simpsons” area while a teenager in a full superhero costume casually walks by. It’s a beautiful, bizarre mess, and you’ll love every second of it—especially the part where you get to yell at a giant King Kong animatronic like a lunatic.
