Technically part of the Hyde Park complex, but we’re counting it separately because it’s that special. At 275 acres, it’s home to the Albert Memorial, the Serpentine Galleries, and the Diana Memorial Playground. The playground has a massive pirate ship—a dream for kids and grown-ups who secretly want to be pirates.
The Italian Gardens are a photographer’s paradise, with fountains that look like they belong in a palace. It’s a bit posher than Hyde Park, so maybe don’t kick a football around here. But do bring a good book and a blanket—it’s prime relaxation territory.
