Royal Mail collects every single letter. Thousands of them. They actually have a dedicated team for this. I imagine them wearing tinsel ties while they work.
Then, the letters are sent to a special volunteer team. These heroes—often school kids, charity workers, or postal elves—write replies. On real Royal Mail letterhead.
Santa himself “signs” the reply. It’s a stamp, but let’s be real: a stamp from Santa is cooler than any autograph from a pop star.
The best part? It’s completely free (besides the stamp you already bought). No hidden fees. No subscription. Just pure, unadulterated childhood wonder.
Will the 2026 letter be different?
Honestly, probably not. Why fix something that isn’t broken? The 2026 version will likely have the same red envelope template you can download from the Royal Mail website. Maybe a new snowflake design. Who knows?
But here’s my hot take: the magic is the same. The address is the same. The deadline is almost identical year after year.
It’s like a cozy, reliable holiday sweater. You know what you’re getting, and it feels wonderful.
