While Michael is dodging shanks, Lincoln is on the outside trying to not lose his mind. Linc has to run secret errands for The Company while also protecting LJ and Sofia. He’s basically a stressed-out dad who’s also a fugitive.
You’ve got to hand it to him, though—Linc gets some great one-liners this season. My personal favorite is when he says, “I’m not dying in Panama.” Iconic. He also teams up with Sucre, who is still the most lovable sidekick in TV history. Their bromance is the emotional core of this wild ride.
The Whistler Problem
Now let’s talk about Whistler. Ugh, Whistler. He’s supposed to be this super important guy, but honestly? He’s kind of a weasel. He keeps secrets from Michael, he plays both sides, and he has a girlfriend named Susan B. Anthony (yes, like the activist, but she’s a Company operative with zero patience).
Whistler’s backstory involves a dead bird-watching guide and a hidden map of coordinates. Classic Prison Break stuff. Michael has to decode Whistler’s little book while also trying not to get killed by a drug lord named Lechero. Lechero. That’s a villain name you won’t forget.
