The good old days of Vikings football were led by Fran Tarkenton, who played for the team from 1972 to 1978 and took them to three Super Bowls. Yep, you read that right - three! Tarkenton was a magician on the field, known for his elusive moves and accurate arm. He's still considered one of the greatest quarterbacks in Vikings history.
But, of course, not all Vikings quarterbacks have been as successful as Tarkenton. There was Jim McMahon, who played for the team in 1993 and was, well, let's just say not exactly the most reliable guy. And then there was Daunte Culpepper, who had a stellar season in 2004, but followed it up with a disastrous 2005 season.
