Yes, you can literally stuff the elf into a sock and call it a sleeping bag. Kids love it because it’s unexpected, and you love it because it takes seven seconds.
Another winner: the elf “making” breakfast. Tape a tiny marshmallow to its hand, then set it next an empty bowl of cereal. My own elf once “poured” a glass of orange juice—by balancing a plastic cup on its head. Did it fall? Yes. Did my kids scream with joy? Also yes.
