You don’t need a secret handshake or a blood test. Just head to the National Express website or grab the app. You’ll need a valid photo ID (passport, driving licence, or a student card with a photo).
Fill in your details, pay the £12.50, and bam—you get a digital card straight to your phone. No waiting for the postman. No lost envelopes. Just pure, instant savings.
Pro tip: Never print it out. The digital version is accepted everywhere, and trees will thank you. Plus, you look cool showing your phone at the ticket check.

Where Can You Actually Use It?
Pretty much everywhere National Express goes. We’re talking 900+ destinations across the UK. From the bright lights of Birmingham to the sea breeze of Brighton, your card works.
It’s perfect for students commuting home, solo explorers, or groups of mates splitting a cheap trip. One friend uses it to visit her boyfriend in Glasgow every month. She says the savings pay for the romantic weekend snacks.
