M&S Fort Kinnaird is generally reliable, but there are quirks. Easter Sunday? Shut. New Year’s Day? Forget it. Remembrance Sunday? They might open later out of respect. Who knows?
The best advice I can give you? Phone them. Or check their official website. The Google listing is often right, but once it told me they were open and they were closed. We never spoke of it again.

Oh, and the car park gets jammed on weekends. If you arrive at noon on a Saturday, you’ll be circling like a vulture. Aim for 9:30 AM or 5:00 PM. Your stress levels will thank you.
One More Thing—The Café
The café. The little tea-and-cake oasis. Does it follow the same hours? Mostly, but they sometimes open 30 minutes after the main store. And they often close 30 minutes before the store does.
So if you want a Victoria sponge at 7:45 PM on a Tuesday, you’re out of luck. The staff will be polishing the cake stands and dreaming of home. Plan accordingly.
Also, the queue for the café on weekends is legendary. Bring snacks. Or prepare for a 20-minute wait while someone decides between an almond croissant and a fruit scone. The agony.
