It’s the kind of place that reminds you London is a messy, wonderful paradox. Old next to new. Sacred next to shopping. Silk shirts next to scones. You can scoff at it, or you can embrace the weirdness.
Personally? I embrace it. I go, I stare at the dome, I buy three things I don’t need from the food hall, and I leave feeling slightly richer in spirit. And with a packet of chocolate fingers. Always the chocolate fingers.
