So, why do they have this policy in the first place? Is it just to make our lives more difficult, or is there a method to the madness? The answer is, it's actually for our own safety. By only allowing clear bags, the security team can easily see what's inside, which reduces the risk of any suspicious items making it into the venue.
It's kind of like when you're going through a metal detector - you know, the ones you see at the airport or at some office buildings? It's the same idea, but instead of detecting metal, they're detecting anything that shouldn't be there. And, just like how you might feel a bit more secure after going through a metal detector, the clear bag policy is designed to make us all feel safer and more secure while we're enjoying the event.
