So, why does it matter if Toronto is the only Canadian MLB team? Well, for one, it's kind of a big deal for baseball fans in Canada, who have to choose between cheering for the Blue Jays or a US-based team. It's like having to choose between Tim Hortons and Dunkin' Donuts, both have their perks, but which one do you really want to support?
Also, having only one team can make it harder for Canadian players to get noticed and make it to the big leagues, it's like trying to get a record deal in a small town, you've got to be really good to get discovered. But, on the flip side, the Blue Jays have a great farm system and have produced some amazing Canadian players over the years, so maybe it's not all bad.
In the end, it's pretty cool that Toronto has its own MLB team, and who knows, maybe one day there'll be another Canadian team in the league, but for now, let's just enjoy the Blue Jays and the excitement they bring to the sport. It's like having a favorite hobby, you know, it's something to look forward to and get excited about, and that's what makes it all worth it.
