You could go to Home Depot. They’re usually open on Easter Sunday, if you feel like betraying your Swedish flat-pack loyalty. Or Target? Also open. But it’s not the same, is it?
Look, take the hint. Easter is a time for family, chocolate, and pretending you don’t need a new desk. Your wallet will thank you. Your soul? Debatable.
But if you absolutely must have that Billy bookcase by Monday, order it online now. Pray to the delivery gods. And if it arrives on Easter Sunday? Don’t open the door. Let the postal carrier think you’re at church. You’ll be in the garage, weeping over a hex key.
Happy Easter. May your meatballs be soft, your shelf be level, and your store be open on Monday.
