The jar itself is a design icon. Tall, square-shouldered, and instantly recognizable, it’s the Eames chair of processed meat containers. And yet, its lid remains a stubborn gatekeeper.
Fun fact: The company once offered a reward for a lid-opening design that would make life easier. To my knowledge, no one claimed it. The struggle is part of the charm.
