Want pro-level clarity without looking like a cartoon? Use Smart Sharpen. It’s like Unsharp Mask’s smarter, better-dressed cousin.
Go to Filter > Sharpen > Smart Sharpen. In the dialog box, set Amount to 100%, Radius to 1.0, and Reduce Noise to 10%.
Check More Accurate (it takes a second longer, but your photo will thank you). Hit OK, and boom—your image has 20/20 vision.
When Life Gives You Noise
Blurry photos often come with grain—like sand got into your camera. Don’t panic; we can fix that without making it look like a watercolor painting.
Go to Filter > Noise > Reduce Noise. Set Strength to 6–8, Preserve Details to 60%, and Reduce Color Noise to 50%.
Push Sharpen Details to about 30%. Yes, you’re sharpening and denoising at the same time—you’re basically a Photoshop wizard now.
