Once you've installed your Chinese keyboard, you can switch between it and your regular keyboard using the Input Source menu in the top right corner of your screen. You can also use the Keyboard Shortcut to switch between languages - just press Command + Space to toggle between your languages.
As you start typing in Chinese, you'll notice that the character input is a little different from what you're used to. Don't worry, it's easy to get the hang of - just type in the pinyin (Romanized Chinese) for the character you want, and your Mac will suggest the correct character for you to use.
