If you’re on a tight budget and have a little extra time, the coach is your best mate. National Express and Green Line run coaches from Victoria Coach Station.
It takes about an hour to an hour and a half, depending on traffic. Think of it as free sightseeing (through industrial estates and the M1).
The coach drops you right at the terminal door. No shuttle bus, no walking in the rain. Winner winner, budget dinner.
Pro tip: Bring a podcast. The M1 is not exactly the Amalfi Coast, but it’s peaceful when you don’t have to drive.
