Grab a flashlight and channel your inner detective. Look for droppings (little dark pellets that look like sad chocolate sprinkles), gnaw marks, or greasy smudge marks along baseboards.
Check dark corners you’ve ignored since 2017: behind the fridge, under the sink, and in the attic. If you see a rat during the day, you likely have a big family of them—time to get serious!
