Here’s a tiny trap: never convert your Table back to a range unless you really, really have to. It undoes all the magic. The filters vanish. The auto-expanding stops. You’re back to the junk drawer.
Also, don’t delete rows by selecting them and hitting Delete. That only clears the contents. To remove a row properly, right-click the row number and choose Delete. Yes, I learned this the hard way. Yes, I cried a little.
One last thing: name your tables. Instead of having “Table1” and “Table2,” rename them to “SalesData” or “TeamList” in the Table Design tab. It makes formulas readable. It makes your spreadsheet look professional. It saves you from shouting at the monitor.
