Iowa has no waiting period. You walk in, you buy, you leave. It’s like a fast-food drive-thru, but instead of a burger, you get a piece of the Second Amendment.
That said, don’t be that person who buys a gun on a whim because you’re angry at your ex. Guns are not impulse buys, unless you also impulse-buy a pony. (Don’t do that, either.)
