The Indian Premier League is where money explodes. It’s a 6-week party where salaries go bonkers. The highest-paid player in 2026, Mitchell Starc, got a cool $2.98 million for just 14 matches.
That’s over $200,000 per game. He gets paid more for one over than most of us earn in a year. And he bowls fast, so he earns it… literally, ball by ball.
Even the lower-tier IPL players make around $50,000 for the season. That’s life-changing money for a few weeks of hard slogging in the heat.
