If you want a good seat, like near the stage or in a golden circle? Prepare your wallet for a cry. Top-tier tickets can easily hit £400 to £800. That’s a mortgage payment on a shed in Yorkshire. It’s the price of a second-hand car that might get you to the venue, or a holiday to Spain where you could actually listen to the music on a beach.
And those VIP packages? Oh, honey. They’re like a luxury cruise for your bank account. You’re paying £1,500 to get a laminate, a tote bag, and the chance to see The Weeknd’s security guard up close. You’ll tell your friends you “met the team,” and they’ll nod politely while judging your life.

The Aftermarket Panic
After the official sale fails, you hit the resale sites. This is where things get spicy. You’ll see those same £120 tickets listed for £500. It’s a digital black market where the currency is hope and FOMO. You start to bargain with yourself: “Well, it’s only one kidney, right?”
I remember trying for the O2 Arena show last year. I had three friends, two laptops, and a prayer circle. We got nothing. My mate Dave paid £380 for a nosebleed seat where The Weeknd looked like a tiny ant wearing a red jacket. He said it was “worth it.” Dave also says eating a whole pizza by yourself is “self-care.” We forgive him because he’s a fan.
