Every single day, there are explosions. Every single day, people are displaced. It’s easy to forget when your biggest worry is if your toast burns. How dare we forget? But hey, humans are bad at holding attention—it’s not our fault, it’s evolution.

The 2014 Pre-Show

So if you count from 2014, we’re talking over 10 years of conflict. A decade! Ten years of sanctions, shaky ceasefires, and people saying “No, this time it’s really bad.” Narrator voice: It was really bad.
