Let’s say you want 15% of 1,200,000. That’s a big number. It might make you sweat. Don’t sweat. Just do the process.
15% becomes 0.15. Multiply 0.15 × 1,200,000. That’s 180,000. See? The number is big, but the method is tiny. The method doesn’t know the number is huge. It just does its job. Be like the method.
You could also use the 10% trick: 10% of 1,200,000 is 120,000. Then 5% (half of that) is 60,000. Add them: 120,000 + 60,000 = 180,000. Boom, roasted.
