The pitches are generously sized. You won’t be elbow-to-elbow with your neighbour. That’s a massive plus. And they’re hardstanding or grass, so you’ve got choices for your motorhome.
There’s a bus stop nearby if you fancy a trip into town without moving your rig. The number 1 bus will take you straight to the Britannia Pier. Super handy.

One thing I love: the sunrise. Being so close to the east coast, you get a killer dawn. Get up early (I know, I know) and watch the sky turn pink over the racecourse. It’s worth the groggy eyes.
Is It Perfect? Almost, But Not Completely
Okay, reality check. It can get noisy on race days. If you’re after total wilderness silence, this isn’t it. You’ll hear the tannoy and the occasional car horn. But hey, it’s a racecourse—what did you expect?
Also, the shop’s prices are typical campsite prices. Slightly inflated. But the convenience is worth it for that emergency bottle of wine. Priorities.
And the grass can be a bit sandy. It’s Yarmouth, after all. You might track a bit of dust into your caravan. Just sweep it out and pretend it’s beach décor.
