The stands are named after local businesses. The “Kentish Belle Stand” sounds posh. It is not. It’s just a bit of metal with a sticker on it. But the Gough Bar inside sells a pint called “Gallagher’s Gold.” It’s watered-down lager. It’s magnificent.
And the toilet? There’s one urinal that has a sign: “Do not flush unless desperate.” The water pressure is a joke. I think the entire city’s plumbing runs on goodwill.
So that’s Gallagher Stadium. A place where dreams and dodgy plumbing meet. It’s chaotic. It’s loud. It’s alive. Go see it before someone builds a proper one.
