So, the next time you feel like an imposter—and you will, probably by lunchtime—remember Del Boy grilling an innocent man about his travel history. Laugh at the absurdity of pretending to be more than you are. It’s not a death sentence; it’s a Saturday afternoon.
“Fatal Extraction” teaches us that failure isn’t fatal. Being found out, feeling stupid, running from a lizard—it’s all part of the messy, glorious experiment of being human. Just please, for the love of god, don’t pretend to be a doctor. Some things are best left to the professionals.
And if you ever feel the urge to bluff your way through a crisis, just ask yourself: What Would Del Boy Do? Then do the opposite. Your dignity will thank you. Except, ironically, that would be the least Del Boy move ever, and that’s the joke that keeps on giving.
