Got a flat to move? A band to transport? Or just a sudden urge to buy a shed from B&Q? The van hire service is your new best mate. Enterprise offers everything from small vans (perfect for a few boxes and a plant) to big Luton vans that could probably house a small band of indie musicians.
And here’s the kicker: hiring a van is shockingly affordable. You won’t need to remortgage your house. Plus, you get to feel like a proper tradesperson for a day—maybe wear a high-vis vest and pretend you’re on a mission. Just don’t take the corners too fast or your mate in the back will slide into a box of lampshades.
The “I’m too cool for a van” option
If vans aren’t your vibe, the car hire selection is excellent. Fancy a zippy Fiesta for a weekend away in Formby? Or a sleek saloon to impress your mates at a wedding? They’ve got it. All cars are clean, well-maintained, and smell like that new-car air freshener that makes you feel richer than you are.

One time, I hired a car and it had heated seats. I live in Liverpool—why do I need heated seats? But oh, what a treat. It made driving through the rain feel like a spa day. Enterprise doesn’t skimp on the extras.
