Don’t wait until the day before the show. Set an alarm for the general sale date—usually about six months before the tour. Also, check presales through fan clubs or your O2 priority app if you’ve got one. That early access can save you from the scalper scrum and keep the price in the sensible zone.
Another hack? Go on a Wednesday or Sunday. Midweek and weekend shows often have lower demand, so you might grab a better seat for less. It’s like shopping for bread at 9 PM—the same product, but the price feels a little sweeter.

Lastly, consider bringing a friend who is less enthusiastic. You can split the driving and the ticket cost, and they might end up a convert. My mate Dave came along “just to be sociable” last time, and now he owns three Def Leppard t-shirts. It’s contagious, I tell you.
The real takeaway
Life is short, and your Spotify playlists can only do so much. A live concert is a tactile, roaring, human experience that no earbud can replicate. The 2026 UK tour prices are fair for the legacy and the spectacle—you’re paying for decades of hits, not just a few notes.
So, when those tickets go on sale, don’t overthink it. Grab two, grab four, and promise yourself you’ll sing loudly and badly. Because in the end, the price of a ticket is just a number. The memory of a night with Def Leppard? That’s priceless. And it tastes a lot better than a tenner found in an old coat.
