According to American Airlines' website, carry-on bags are allowed as long as they fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. The maximum dimensions are 22 x 14 x 9 inches, and personal items like purses, briefcases, and laptops are also permitted. Just be sure to check the airline's website for any updates or changes to their policy.
Now, I know what you're thinking, "what about liquids and gels?" Don't worry, American Airlines follows the TSA's 3-1-1 liquids rule, which means you can bring liquids, gels, and aerosols in containers of 3.4 ounces or less, as long as they fit in a clear, quart-sized zip-top bag. Easy peasy!
