When you’re at the till, just tell the cashier you want to use your points before you pay. They’ll scan your card or ask for your number, and then say, "How many points do you want to use?" You can say "All of them," or "Use 5,000 points," or "Use the maximum." But remember: it must be in 100-point lumps.
If you’re shopping online, it’s even easier. At checkout, look for the box that says "Use my Advantage Card points" and tick it. You can slide a slider or type in how many points you want to use. Boom, done. No awkward awkwardness. No British fumbling for coins while the queue grows.
