Expect a heavy dose of his last two albums. “Rough and Rowdy Ways” and “Shadow Kingdom” are current obsessions. He loves them. You will hear songs about murder, fate, and old movies.
Bob Dylan 1976 Setlist
Then, the classics arrive. But they are deconstructed. “Tangled Up in Blue” gets a new tempo. “Highway 61 Revisited” becomes a raw, bluesy shuffle. You’ll squint and say, “Is that…?” Yes. Yes it is.
The "Ballad of a Thin Man" Warning
He loves to play this one. It’s a slow, creepy, 10-minute burner. If you see it on the setlist, you are in for a vibe. No dancing, just uncomfortable brilliance.
Also, prepare for covers. He might drop in a Chuck Berry song. Or a Sinatra standard. It’s not a mistake; it’s a lesson in American music history. You’re a student now.
