Technology, am I right? If you’re streaming and your internet decides to take a nap, don’t throw the remote. Try switching to your phone’s hotspot. Or, just call a friend who has cable—bonus points if they make snacks. The 49ers community is a loyal one, and nothing bonds people like shared agony over a missed field goal.
Remember, football is about joy. Yes, even when the red zone offense stalls. Even when you scream at the TV. The 49ers are on TV today because we love this chaotic, glorious game. So grab your jersey (the one you haven’t washed since week one, I know you have it), pour your beverage of choice, and settle in.

One Last Thing: The Referee Conspiracy
Okay, this isn’t about TV, but I have to say it: if you think the refs are rigging the game, you’re not alone. We all do. But remember, you can’t see the conspiracy on TV if you’re too busy yelling at the screen. So take a deep breath. It’s just a game. It’s just a really, really important game.
And if you’re still not sure if the 49ers are on TV today, do this one easy thing: text your buddy who’s a bigger fan than you. They’ll know. They always know. They’re probably already wearing team colors and have a spreadsheet of kickoff times.
