So, are buses running on New Year’s Day? The answer is: Probably, but slowly. Assume the worst. Plan for the worst. Bring snacks. Bring a book. And for the love of all that is holy, charge your phone. You’ll need it for the waiting.
If you can, just take the late bus on New Year’s Eve. Spend the night at your friend’s house. Yes, even if they have “that” cat that stares at you. It’s better than being stranded. Trust me.
And if you do end up waiting for the bus, remember: You’re a survivor. You made it through 2026. You can make it through one slow bus ride. Just don’t forget to check the schedule. Please. Future you will thank present you.
