Speaking of fees, Air China charges different rates for excess baggage, depending on the route and class of travel. It's like trying to navigate a maze, but don't worry, I've got you covered. For example, if you're flying from China to the US, the fee for an extra bag can range from $100 to $200, which is like buying an extra ticket for your bag to fly in style.

Now, here's a fun fact: did you know that Air China has a special policy for musical instruments? That's right, if you're a musician traveling with your instrument, you can check it in as a separate bag, as long as it fits in a hard case and weighs less than 23kg. It's like getting a special pass to bring your instrument on vacation, but don't expect to get a free ticket for your instrument to sit in first class.
