Now, for the juicy stuff. What’s going to happen at the worst-funded school in Philadelphia? Without giving away any spoilers from season four’s finale (if you’re not caught up, seriously, get on that), we can expect the will-they-won’t-they tension between Janine and Gregory to reach new heights. Or maybe they’ll finally figure it out and we’ll get a whole season of them being adorable.
Don’t forget the Queen of Chaos, Ava. I’m betting she’ll have a new, ridiculous side hustle or maybe a feud with a rival principal. And Mr. Johnson? He’ll probably reveal that he’s been secretly running the school’s underground economy since 1982. It’s all part of the charm.
The show’s magic is that it balances heart and humor perfectly. So, expect more memes, more hallway shenanigans, and maybe even a new teacher who’s even more clueless than Jacob. Gasp. Is that possible?

The Cast: Who’s Coming Back?
Everyone you love is back. That’s the short answer. Quinta Brunson (Janine), Tyler James Williams (Gregory), Janelle James (Ava), Lisa Ann Walter (Melissa), Chris Perfetti (Jacob), and William Stanford Davis (Mr. Johnson) are all confirmed. The gang’s all here.
There’s also a rumor that we might see a few special guest stars pop in. Maybe a big-name comedian or a beloved actor from another classic sitcom. The show is a magnet for talent, so keep your eyes peeled for surprise appearances. I’m personally hoping for a cameo by a real-life Philly sports star—just imagine Ava trying to flirt with them.
